Chestnut Homes Names the Perfect Labrador Retriever Mascot for Market Rasen

Chestnut Homes has recruited a furry new member to its Market Rasen team to celebrate the recent launch of its Chantrey Park development.

The adorable Labrador Retriever, Ted, has been crowned the winner of the Chestnut Homes Furry Mascot contest, chosen by the public.

The contest saw hundreds of Lincolnshire residents sharing photos and videos of their dogs using the hashtag #ChantreyParkMascot. The four finalists; Gladys, Winston, Ted and Coco were then put to the public vote on the Chestnut Homes social media pages.

Winner Ted will receive a basket full of special dog treats and become a very important member of the Chestnut Homes team, providing a bird’s eye view of the new Chantrey Park development. Ted, who loves long walks in the countryside, rubbing his tummy and playing with his toys, will lend his paw to a number of Chestnut Homes tasks over the next few weeks. In his new role, he’ll be able to wear a go-pro and indulge in sniffing out the perfect rides, finding the best neighbors for treats, and taking house hunters on a video tour of the new show through his eyes.

Chantrey Park consists of 300 houses and is on the northern edge of the historic town of Market Rasen in Lincolnshire. With prices starting at £179,950, it offers a range of two, three, four and five bedroom homes ideal for first-time buyers, growing families and those looking to downsize.

Helene Key, Sales Manager at Chestnut Homes, said: “We are delighted to welcome our newest member to the team, Ted. Pets are an integral part of family life and therefore a crucial part of the home buying process. Looking at a home through a dog’s view is a fun way to see a different perspective and make sure a new home is right for everyone in the family. We look forward to having Ted on the team.

Celebrating the win, Ted’s owner said: “So happy to see Ted crowned the winner. He loves people and exploring new places, so he’s the perfect mascot to help Chestnut Homes. I’m thrilled to see the world through Ted’s eyes on go-pro footage.
